Ben studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Wales and joined Renishaw’s advanced technical apprenticeship programme in 2012. He joined the additive manufacturing product division in 2016 and is now a Lead Applications Engineer, working with customers across a variety of industries.
As the AM partner to British Cycling, Ben has led the Renishaw team working on the project since 2019. In collaboration with Lotus Engineering and Hope Technology, Ben helped to develop and manufacture integral components for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games HB.T track bike. The partnership continued for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with notable developments to the bike including a 3D-printed titanium crank.
