They were in a bind: their latest device design required a power supply that could deliver more power than its predecessor while fitting into a smaller footprint. The specifications were clear yet daunting:

  • Two output rails: 500 Watts at 24 Volts for system power and 300 Watts at 30 Volts for battery charging.
  • Full compliance with medical device isolation standards.
  • A compact form factor due to limited space.

The engineer was sceptical about finding a configurable power supply that could meet these demands without compromising on quality or safety.

The NEVO+1200M boasts a compact design without sacrificing power or efficiency, featuring intelligent fan control and extensive output voltage adjustment capabilities. Martin proposed two configurations:

  1. Configuration 1: Delivering 24V @ 30A (600W) and 30V @ 20A (600W), complete with a low noise fan—an ideal fit for the compact space.
  2. Configuration 2: A quicker, stock-available option delivering 24V @ 18.75A (450W) and 30V @ 15A (450W), suitable for immediate testing needs.

After thorough discussions, the customer opted for both configurations: one for production reliability and the other for immediate testing, appreciating the flexibility and robust performance of the NEVO+1200M.
