How High-Speed Data Communication is used on Industrial Machinery
Heavy equipment no longer works alone. In the age of the “internet of things”, industrial machinery is becoming a part of connected networks with multiple equipment units to increase efficiency.
This workshop will showcase how co-operation between manufacturers and hence design engineers provides a seamless product to the end user.
In this workshop, we give the example of how the AEF-the Agriculture Electronics Foundation are incorporating CAN with 1000BASE-T1 Ethernet ISOBUS to meet the growing data networking requirements.
It means that operators may choose the implements they need regardless of brand and have confidence that machinery can communicate using the same network.
High-Speed Interoperability between different OEM systems will allow for more command and control of prescription, remote camera viewing, more precise data logging, and detailed display of information.
